Look at how cool and sexy they are!

Now if only I can come up with $200 dollar from somewhere. Maybe I should etch a big “Google” right across it and hope they are willing to reimburse me for it or maybe “Yahoo!” as long as someone pays the bill.
Cheers!

Art – Those pictures do not belong to me. They belong to philliptorrone who wrote about it here: http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2005/12/how_its_made_laser_etching_pow.html
I apologize, I should have been more clear.
However, to get a laser etch on a Mac there are currently a few methods. The cheapest method would be to ask to use a laser etcher from an art institution, which could be easy or hard depending on your access. If that does not work, you could always try to locate a trophy/award shop which offer laser etching services, which usually price you on a per hour basis. If all else fails, probably the easiest but also most expensive method – about $200 – is to use EtchAMac.com (http://www.etchamac.com/).
